How to get there

 

Travelling from the airport (Charles de Gaulle) to Paris

There are a number of options for getting from the airport to the Gare de Lyon in Paris from where you catch the train (RER) to Fontainebleau. 

• Taxi
• There is an airport bus direct to Gare de Lyon in central Paris every half hour. The journey takes 45–60 minutes and costs approx. € 10 one way.

By train from Paris

Grez-sur-Loing is situated approximately 70 kilometres southeast of Paris.

Trains depart from Gare de Lyon in Paris every hour during the day to Nemours. This station is situated in the direct vicinity of Grez-sur-Loing.

Travel time approx 40 minutes.

By car from Paris.

Drive towards Lyon and leave the motorway at Fontainebleau. Follow signs for Fontainebleau.

On the outskirts of the town centre is a major junction with a tall obelisk at the centre. Follow signs for Nemours. After approx. 9 kms follow signs for Grez. The journey takes about one hour.
